Physician Extender and Mid-Level Provider Programs
EPMG's Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are utilized in
selected settings where their presence is appropriate. Hospitals
often benefit from increased cost-effectiveness and enhanced service
delivery through the use of physician extenders. All of EPMG's
mid-level providers are held to the same standards of performance as
are EPMG's physicians.
Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners carry out physician
extender activities under the direct case-by-case supervision of an
experience EPMG physician. In this manner, every patient is assured
of face-to-face contact with their physician.
