Providing Physician Leadership
EPMG is an emergency physician group dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care to its patients while improving the field of emergency medicine and other related specialties. By partnering with physicians and client hospitals, we will continually strive to create a "preferred practice of choice" and a healthy work environment, thus allowing us to attract and retain the highest level of quality physicians. This will enable us to invest in our physicians, employees, and the future of the organization while consistently providing outstanding medical care. EPMG also believes that healthcare extends to the community we serve. As a reliable partner, we strive to create a core group of clinicians who live and work in your community.
Effective and committed physician leadership is the cornerstone to creating a long-term relationship with our hospital partners. EPMG is committed to creating a capable clinical leadership team that allows for a balance between direct patient care and administrative duties. EPMG will assure that the following day-to-day administrative duties are met:
- Providing overall leadership for the emergency department
- Working hand in hand with nursing leadership and other key clinical staff
- Assuring compliance in quality improvement and risk management
- Establishing high professional standards
- Assuring the delivery of quality service
- Playing a leadership role in the development of quality initiatives
- Coordinating educational programs in the department
- Fostering excellent relationships
- Collaborating on patient satisfaction initiatives
- Going above and beyond to support hospital initiatives
Our relationships with our hospital partners are solidified by the effectiveness and skills of our physician leadership. EPMG extends this same leadership model to all our new and existing hospital partners. Our physician leaders become an indispensible part of the hospital administrative team, and that combined with our ability to lead and integrate teams ensures that our strong and committed physician leadership will meet and exceed strategic goals within and beyond the emergency department.
